Tell us a little bit about you and what you do?
I started making jewelry about 2 years ago and use the lost-wax casting process. I've always been somewhat interested in jewelry, but was really sparked when I was working at a boutique and had to learn all about the different jewelry brands and how pieces are made. The lost-wax process was the most interesting to me, so I took a class in it and became hooked on the whole process.
I also met some really great people at the boutique where I was working, which led me to an apprenticeship for a woman named Chiemi and her brand, After Shave Club. Since then, I've just started making my own designs.
What’s your favorite part of your process when you are making jewelry?
I enjoy the actual carving of the wax and shaping the ring, but also the polishing process. It’s really incredible to see a design you’ve made come to life and in its final form. Almost every time I am carving something at the beginning stage, I always ask myself, "What am I doing..? What is this? This design is garbage", but after seeing the finished piece, its really satisfying.
How would you describe your personal style?
Lol - uhh a mix between a skater boy and a 76 year old chic grandma?? Idk depends on the day!!!!
What inspires you the most when making jewelry? The joy that (I hope) it will bring to the wearer. Whether it is a piece they are gifting someone, or if it is something for themself, I hope it will make them feel special and unique.
What’s your dream project?A collaboration with my boo!! Shout out Lil' Barnabis Co !

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
