About Us

Paraíso was officially born in the fall of 2017, but it was conceived many years ago in my room in Miami.  Growing up I was a very introverted kid with too many ideas, hobbies, and very strong opinions. "I don't want to follow the norm. I always want to do my own thing and make my own money", was my mantra growing up.  This thought process led me to be a young entrepreneur in high school. I found myself using our home printer on heat transfer paper, and my 99 dollar Walmart sewing machine to customize homemade t-shirts, tote bags, earrings, and bracelets.  I would cover my friends' Chuck Taylors in paintings and our favorite music lyrics, adding buttons and tons of gems.  

Aside from being an outlet to express myself and escape home life, my creations also gave me a sense of community among friends and classmates. Paraíso is my hope to once again capture that community.  Paraíso is where I get to share my ideas and passions with the world. It is where I get to talk about music, books, movies, and art. With this brand, I get to reconceptualize 'hanging out.'
